“hello mam
i have been suffering from depression since past 4 years. i got another shocked of depression last year as i came to know that i have been strongly cheated by councilor of depression.i have been missed used by them the time is going ind i m being weak and weak everyday. i m feeling completly helpless. i m 22 years old from india. i hope i will get help properly from your team.
thank you.”

Every people suffer the feeling of being depress or being sad. This is the normal reaction once someone was being rejected, cheated, experience loss and other negative situations in life. However, too much depression or if the feeling of being depress will not go away then this will lead to certain medical condition called depression that is very harmful towards the person because this will lead to suicide. According to the medical definition of depression, it is a state of having low mood that greatly affects the person’s thoughts, feelings, physical well being as well as their behavior.

The common manifestations of a depressed person usually feels sad, feelings of worthlessness, hopeless, emptiness, irritable; sometimes they feel weaker every day, may have lost interest in other activities, sometimes they tend to be alone always, they also feel worthless, they also have problems in concentration, some will have lost their appetite, or the worst will attempt suicide.

Moreover, depression is not a serious matter once the person itself knows how to handle the feeling of being depress. Indeed, the person itself should help their selves in managing carefully their depression so that it will not progress to psychological breakdown that will later on turn into a serious psychological problem. That is why, depressed individual should learn how to return to the reality and divert the feeling of being depress.

In order to diminished the feelings of being lonely or depress one should know how to explore other possibilities that help them forget the problems that causes depression. Here are some possible tips on how to overcome your depression. First, begin it with yourself, develop a healthy lifestyle like managing your stress, have a regular exercise and sleeping pattern, eat a balance meal that will boost your mood every day, practice relaxation exercises such as going to a movie theatre, body massage, reading inspirational books, warm shower every night and going to a fun recreational place.

Second, find and develop support relationships you have like your family, close friends, church members and other persons that you trust most. This way, it will help you give positive advices whenever you have problems and trials as well as it will be a means of channeling your depression by verbalizing to them your negative feelings and emotions. Third, is to strengthen your emotional skills. Some people have difficulty in managing their stress and emotions, that is why they are easily get depress. But if you have the ability to manage well and build up your emotional stability then you will be successful in strengthening your emotions.

Furthermore, a person who have strong hold of their emotions they have the ability to cope easily to certain negative situations and bounce back from adversities and problems in life. Learn this kind of skills because it will help you overcome your depression. Fourth, if the other tips will not work out, you can seek professional help like consulting psychiatric physicians because they are the one who can help you solve your present medical conditions. In this way, the medical practitioner will guide and help you manage your depression by engaging you to different therapies that will surely help your condition.

Together with your cooperation, they will guide you to choose the best therapies that suite you and take note, these are effective therapies since it is widely used nowadays to patients suffering from major depressive disorder. This therapy includes pharmacologic treatments, behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy and other forms. This management will help you understand the triggering factors of depression and how you can handle things that will not lead to serious depression.

Therefore, in times of trials and problems that you’ve experience, it is feeling down is normal part of reaction. But when sadness and emptiness will take hold your emotions and will not diminish then it will lead to depression.
