Ear Plugs Uses Soft foam ear plugs that help with sleeping, concentrating and studying. Noise reduction rating 32 decibels, when used as directed. Contents: 5 pair ear plugs, carrying case (made of durable plastic; ideal for storing ear plugs).Directions 1. With clean hands, hold ear plug between thumb and forefinger. ROLL and progressively compress the entire ear plug to a small crease free cylinder. 2. To insure proper fitting, reach hand over head and gently pull ear upward and outward. INSERT compressed, rounded end of ear plug well into ear canal. HOLD 20-30 seconds until ear plug expands. 3. PROPER FIT: When properly inserted, flange of ear plug is located at the opening of the ear canal.Warnings Improper fitting will reduce effectiveness and could result in hearing loss or injury. Discard product after several uses or as soon as dirt or wax accumulates on ear plugs. Keep away from infants and small children. These ear plugs are nontoxic, but may interfere with breathing if caught in windpipe. For noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500Hz the C-weighted environment noise level should be used. Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult the enclosed instructions for proper fit. Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive noise, the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire. Constant or repetitive exposure to impulsive noise may lead to serious injury, temporary or permanent deafness. The noise reduction rating (NRR) calculated from the attenuation data is 32 dB.
